What is the home of the future?
It is hard to say exactly, but we can speculate some things about it. First and foremost, it is digitalized; the home is not only connected to a computer, but it also becomes the computer. Sophisticated digital systems underlying all aspects of your day to day life work together to make your life easier; you do not have to think about cleaning your house, setting the thermometer, heating up the water for your shower, or even preparing food –the smart home does it for you. You can sit back and relax, knowing that there is someone who does all the boring housework for you, while you have the time to recover from your hard day of work.

As we mentioned, one of the things that are usually very boring to do around the house is to make sure that the heating is working and that the temperature all around the house is high enough so that the inhabitants do not experience any health or other issues.
